Giants Ridge – Day 2

Ross We woke up really early. The sun was so bright I couldn’t see the clock. It must have been 11:00. We threw on our snow gear and drove the 500 feet to the chalet. My great aunt, Viv, works there so we all got our lift passes for $20! (Thanks Viv!) Drew, Jeff, and I spent most of the day snowboarding together. We found a run that was filled with a long series of 8 foot high mounds all in a row. This was a fun and challenging run because the sides were not groomed so you had to board across the mounds. Another cool run had a box, 2 rails, and a jump all in a row. The jump had a really nice landing so I wasn't afraid to get some good air.

Afterwards, half of us went to the Bar/Pizza shop to pick up pizza for the gang. The pizza wasn't ready so we ordered some drinks. The bill was $16 for 6 drinks! Down in MPLS it probably would have been $30. Man that’s crazy.

I had my first ever taco pizza. Seriously. It had all the taco fixings on pizza crust. It was actually really good, but strange.
