Days at the Hospital
Cameron had quite the first day coming into this world. Grandma and Grandpa Olson and Carlson came to see him his very first night. I was very tired and exhausted from the surgery. I could not get out of bed and Ross had to do EVERYTHING, he was very exhausted because of this. Cameron had his first bath that night, which we found out he hates being cold at all. Ross gave him his bath, while I took pictures from my bed. They did some tests on him and found out he had a 4 + DAT.
Cameron's Birth
On February 2nd at 7:45 am we arrived at Fairview Southdale Hospital to be induced. We were very excited knowing that today was the day we were going to meet our son! At 8:15 am Dr. Grootwassink came in and broke my water. Immediately I started having contractions, and to help things move along even faster they gave me pitocin. The nurses did not increase the pitocin too much since the contractions were going well without it. By about noon, I was ready for the epidural. With the epidural I did not feel the contractions anymore.
