It is called Bike for Obama. A friend of mine is going to bike from Minneapolis to Denver for the Democratic National Convention. Check out the site and help support him if you can. It is a fun way to donate to Obama's campaign.
Tyler graduated a couple weeks ago and got a job at Fastenal in Winona. Heidi went down there Sunday to help them move in.

I would have been there helping also, but I had an autocross race. This was my second race of the season. The course was really fast and a lot of fun. Drew and Jeff also raced.

I finally set up the BBQ Grill. I actually had friends walking up the driveway as I was screwing on the handles. In the past week Heidi and I have used it three times. Heidi also got like 100 pounds of meet, so we have some more grilling to do.

After grilling on Saturday a big storm came in. We got some serious hail. This is the biggest hail I have ever seen. I grabbed some pieces and measured them at 2 inches! It was so crazy. Maybe we’ll get a new roof or siding. My car was in the garage, and Heidi’s was under a big tree.
Although our team played hard, we lost to a group of 17 year olds. So yeah. That's it. I feel old. Maybe I'll join the senior league next time.
We went out for my Moms birthday on Sunday. Lunch at Buca and then a shot of Triple Espresso. Triple Espresso is a comedy that three guys act out. It has a hilarious mix of magic, music, and comedy. I highly recommend it to everyone. (I don’t think Triple Espresso is going to last forever so get out and see it soon if you are interested in a good laugh.)

Heidi and I were also very productive by making a lot of progress on our living room. We picked out carpeting and paint. We mudded and sanded. Then we primed all the walls and ceiling.
As of today, we have the ceiling done and one coat on our walls. I think we are on track to getting carpet next week, and then we'll be done with the living room!

I also helped Paul and Ashley move into their new home on Saturday. It went really fast. It always helps when you have 8+ people helping.
I went out on Medicine Lake to do some ice fishing. Ed and I caught about 20 perch in about one hour. I caught 3 of them. After the fish slowed down, I put on my snowboard and hooked a rope up to Ed's truck. He pulled me around for a while, until I got tired. I was able to carve back and forth fairly easily and I was able to catch air on some snow drifts. It was a lot of fun! I definitely have to get out there and do it again.

And if that wasn't enough, Heidi and I went out snowboarding after she workup. We went to Afton and met up with Drew and Jeff. We were there for a couple of hours until I had to drop Heidi off at work.
Mostly working on the house. We have made a lot of progress after lots of hard work. I'll add some pictures and tell you more about it later.

Heidi and I got season passes at Afton again. We have been going a lot and Heidi is getting really good this year. She can cruse down the mountain pretty fast, and she looks comfortable on both edges. I even got her to go over a jump!!!

After a really fun trip up to the UP of Michigan with the guys last year, I thought it would be fun to go back up with the Chambers family, and our family. It was a lot of fun. The mountains up there are great. They have three right next to each other. I'll have to add some picture from this trip also.

I also went back up there with the guys. Dean gave me a run for my money. He was hitting big jumps with me all day. It sounds like we only had 10 hours of sleep in three nights. It took me until Monday to get back on track. Good times!
